Who we are

CatalogComplete is the operating name of Kamaljeet Singh Gill, a sole proprietorship registered in Ontario, Canada. In this policy, "CatalogComplete", "we" and "us" mean that business. Questions about this policy or your information: [email protected].

What we collect

• Contact information you send us — your name, email address, and store URL, when you request a free audit or contact us.
• Catalog data — for a free audit, we review your store's public pages only. For a paid fix, we access catalog content and settings through time-limited Shopify collaborator access that you grant (and can revoke at any time), or work from files you provide. The fix never involves your orders or your customers' personal information, and we do not seek access to them.
• Payment information — payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, receive, or store your card number. Stripe's handling of payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
• Business records — invoices, receipts, and engagement records we are required to keep under Canadian tax law.

How we use it

To produce your audit, implement the changes you approve, deliver the after-audit and change log, communicate with you about the engagement, issue invoices and receipts, and meet our legal and tax obligations. We may also use de-identified, aggregated statistics — for example, average catalog-completeness scores by catalog size band, in a form that cannot identify your store — to maintain and publish our audit benchmarks.

What we never do

• We never sell personal information.
• We never use one client's catalog data in another client's work.
• We never publish your store's name, results, or review without the terms described on our website (founding-cohort reviews are published with the discount relationship disclosed, and only as agreed).

Sharing

We share information only with the service providers needed to operate — currently Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email), Cloudflare (website hosting and form processing), and Resend (which delivers this website's audit-request form submissions and confirmation emails) — and only the information each needs. We may disclose information if required by law or a valid legal process.

Retention

Engagement and tax records are retained for the period required by Canadian law (generally six years for business records). Other personal information is deleted on request, subject to those legal retention requirements.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days. This policy is maintained in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Cookies and this website

This website is a static site and sets no tracking cookies of its own. If we add analytics in the future, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
