For Shopify stores with 100–2,000 products · Considered purchases · US buyers
CatalogComplete audits your product data — missing attributes, GTINs, variant names, image alt text, store policies and FAQ/knowledge base — against what Shopify Catalog, Google AI Mode/Merchant Center and Microsoft Copilot actually consume. Then we repair it for a flat fee, after you approve a before/after list of every change. Nothing in your store changes without your written OK.

From our own audits, October 2026: 23 stores scored against this rubric averaged 62.2/100 — none reached the top band, and 17 of the 23 publish at least one product page whose data contradicts itself. Read what our audits keep finding →
Real sample audit · A public store, audited 19 Oct 2026 · Not a client 65/100 — Mostly ready Weakest areas: image alt text 5/10 · FAQ & Knowledge Base 4/8 · Identifiers: not public (never guessed). Example fix inside: variant option “Core” → “Colour”. Read the full sample audit ↓No GTIN, no material, no dimensions → the assistant can't confirm your product is the product the shopper asked for, so it names one it can verify.
"Blue / Option 2" and a two-line description → it can't answer "is this waterproof?" or "does it fit my model?", so it answers with a competitor's product.
No returns or shipping detail in your Knowledge Base → the assistant has nothing accurate to say about buying from you, at the exact moment the shopper is deciding.
AI-referred visits are still a small share of all retail traffic today — and growing fast. Assistants can only send buyers to products they can read, verify, and describe correctly. That part is your catalog data, and it's fixable.
New this month: since 9 October 2026, Shopify also sends your compare-at (sale) prices to AI shopping agents by default. A stale or wrong compare-at price in your catalog can now be quoted to a shopper by an assistant — price accuracy is one of the things the audit checks line by line. (Shopify Catalog change, October 2026.)
No client data is shown anywhere on this page — our first clients are the founding cohort below. So instead of testimonials we don't have yet, here is a complete sample audit, done the way every audit is done.
A real US sports-equipment storefront (pickleball paddles, footwear, apparel — hundreds of products), audited from its public pages only, 19 October 2026. The store is not a client; the audit is published to show the method. 12 identifier points could not be verified from public pages and were excluded from the score, never guessed.

A second worked example — East Fork, a 456-product pottery store — scored 60/100, published with its full change list and the approval gate demonstrated. See the published audits →
Tick every statement that is true for your catalog today. This self-check is indicative only — the free audit scores your actual catalog against the full 100-point rubric.
No email needed for the self-check. The full audit is read-only, from your public pages, and lands by email within 2 business days.
You never share your password. We never touch your prices, products' commercial terms, orders or customer data — the work is catalog content and settings you approved, and access can be removed the moment we're done.
Every check in the rubric is performed · you approve every change before it happens · only approved changes are made · delivery by the agreed date · an after-audit and full change log · a refund if any of these are not delivered.
That ChatGPT, Copilot, Google or any assistant will cite, recommend or rank your store · any amount of traffic or sales · how any platform's model changes next month.
What complete, accurate data does is remove the reasons assistants currently have to skip or misdescribe your products. That's the part within your control — and ours.
Honest version: each route does part of the job. We concede where the others win.

* GTIN honesty note: we flag missing GTINs and source the correct ones where the manufacturer publishes them. Where no GTIN exists (handmade, private label), we apply the correct identifier-exemption handling instead of inventing a number — inventing identifiers would be data fraud, and platforms penalise it.
Want to DIY it? Read the audit checklist we use — free, no email required. It's the same rubric; the fix is the labour.
Enterprise brands don't repair catalog data themselves. They buy managed services: specialists who audit the data, implement the corrections, and verify the result — at enterprise prices, on annual contracts. The app route is the opposite trade: a smaller monthly fee, and the work is still yours, in a dashboard you have to learn.
CatalogComplete is the managed-service model, productised for Shopify stores: a published 100-point audit standard, a change list you approve in writing before anything happens, the approved repairs implemented for you, and an after-audit that verifies every change. One flat fee. No subscription required, no feed tool to configure, no new software for your team to run.
That is the whole difference: tools report problems; a service closes them. There is also nothing to install — no app runs in your store, and the work never reads your customer data or your orders.
This site practises what it sells: it publishes structured data (JSON-LD) and an llms.txt — the same machine-readable basics we check in your audit. Read us the way an assistant would.

For comparison: a feed app at $64/month is $768 in year one — and every year after. The fix is one payment, once. (DataFeedWatch Shop plan, apps.shopify.com, checked Oct 2026.)

Last day to approve your change list for Black Friday delivery.
All approved fixes live and synced — before Thanksgiving (Thu Nov 26) and Black Friday.
These are production deadlines, not marketing ones: audits and approvals take the time shown in the process above, and we cap founding stores at 10 so the dates hold. If you miss Nov 13, we'll still do the work — we just won't promise the Black Friday date.
Adobe's September 2026 forecast projects AI-referred retail traffic up 130% year over year this holiday season, and up 95% on Black Friday itself. (Forecast, Adobe, Sept 2026.)
Partly true, and it already does the free part: Shopify standardises, structures and syndicates your catalog automatically, and its free Product Page Audit (at shopify.com/agentic-readiness) scans a page's structured data — run it; it's a good technical check. What neither can do is judge or repair the data itself: invent source facts that were never entered — a product's true weight or material, its GTIN, what your "Core" variant option means, or which of two conflicting return windows is real. We repair those facts in your store, catalog-wide. If your free audit shows Shopify's automatic coverage is already enough for your catalog, we'll tell you, and there is nothing to buy.
Not guaranteed — by us or by anyone, whatever they claim. Assistants choose what to surface. We guarantee the deliverable: complete, consistent, corrected data, verified with a before/after checklist, and we remove the specific data problems that make assistants skip or misdescribe products today.
Fair question — so the page is built to not require trust: the full sample audit is published above, the method and rubric are public, every change needs your written approval before it happens, payment is only taken at approval, and the deliverable guarantee is in writing on this page. The founding discount exists precisely because we're earning our first reviews instead of pointing at other people's.
Catalog content only: titles, descriptions, structured attributes, variant names, alt text, product types/collections, policy wording, FAQ/Knowledge Base content. No theme or code changes. You approve every edit as a before/after first, you receive the full change log, and every change can be reverted using the log.
For the audit: none — it's done from your public pages. For the fix: time-limited Shopify collaborator access limited to products/content/settings, which you grant and can revoke at any time — or no access at all, if you prefer to apply our import file yourself. You never share your password, and the work never touches orders or customers.
5–7 business days from your approval of the change list. Your total time is about 30 minutes: ~2 to request the audit, ~20 to approve the change list, ~10 to skim the after-audit.
Approve part of it, or none of it. If you approve none, you owe nothing — the audit was free. If paid work is not delivered as guaranteed, the guarantee above applies.
You can — the comparison table above is honest about what apps do well (ongoing feed management for large, fast-changing catalogs) and the checklist we use is free to download. The fix exists for owners who would rather approve a finished change list than spend weekends becoming their own catalog department.
Partly — and your audit will tell you exactly which part. The data problems that hide products from AI assistants (missing attributes, missing GTINs, vague variant names, thin policies and FAQs) exist on every platform, because Google, Microsoft and the AI channels read product feeds from all of them. Our audit checks that data from your public pages whatever you run on, and the findings are yours to keep either way. The hands-on fix is currently delivered for Shopify stores. On another platform we'll say so plainly in the audit: either we can prepare the corrected data as an import file for you or your developer to apply, or the audit itself is your complete to-do list. Etsy and Amazon listing data are on our expansion roadmap — requests from those platforms are how we'll know when to build it.
No — the one-time fix stands on its own. Monitoring exists because catalogs drift as you add products: a monthly check of new/changed products, a quarterly re-scored mini-audit, and a note when the AI channels change what they consume. Add or cancel anytime.
From the manufacturer or your supplier data — never invented. If a product genuinely has no GTIN (handmade, private label), we use the correct identifier-exemption handling in the feed data instead of a fake number.
Yes: 30% off list for the first 10 stores, with the live counter at the top of this page. In return we ask for an honest review after delivery — honest, not positive — published with the discount disclosed.
Yes — at list prices, with no deadline pressure at all. The dates above exist only because Black Friday does.

Senior Software Engineer, AI — an industry veteran in production software, currently working on agent frameworks and Microsoft/Azure AI platforms — based in Oakville, Ontario. CatalogComplete is built and run to the standard he works to in enterprise AI: published methods, verified data, auditable results.
Every engagement is quality-checked by the founder personally before delivery — the dedicated-specialist attention enterprise brands pay managed-service retainers for, delivered at a flat fee for Shopify stores.
"Catalog data is now read by machines before it is read by people. Our standard is simple: if an AI assistant can't read a product, verify it, and describe it back correctly, the work isn't finished."
